To make sure the car is as environmentally friendly as possible, both on the road and during servicing at authorised Škoda service partners, we need highly trained professionals.

A training programme to enlighten professionals about environmentally responsible car servicing was launched in 2011. It focuses on the various themes related to environmental protection, such as waste management, air and water protection, the management of chemical substances and other topical issues thrown up by changes to legislation and stipulations under existing laws.

Since 2007, Škoda Auto has planted one tree for every car it has sold in the Czech Republic. Its “One Tree Planted for Every Car Sold in the Czech Republic” project saw more than 912,000 trees planted at over 150 sites since the project launch. Every year, dozens of Škoda Auto employees are actively involved in the project, identifying suitable spots for planting and working with their families to install the trees. Apprentices from the Škoda secondary vocational centre and Škoda trainees also put their shoulders to the wheel. In 2017, the first Škoda Avenue“ was established and the first Škoda customer himself planted his own tree before overtaking a Škoda car.
