Roughly 1.5 million m3 of water is used at Škoda Auto every year. Considering the ever increasing costs of drinking and industrial water, we need to act responsibly and save water appropriately.

The environmental impact of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is hardly negligible seeing as they are an ongoing cause of ground-level ozone, which is harmful to both the environment and human health. While it is unfortunate that certain stages of car production (especially the manufacture of flawless vehicle paint) cannot get by without VOCs, Škoda Auto is constantly striving to narrow down the levels used.

As the production of the energy used by Škoda Auto generates thousands of tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year, reducing those emissions is one of the car maker’s main goals.

Considering how many people work for the company, any plastic bottle dropped into a mixed waste bin or any page printed for no reason is an enormous strain on the environment. Besides, sorted waste is a valuable source that can be re-used in new products.
