When reversing out of parking bays, rear traffic alert recognises vehicles approaching from the sides. An acoustic signal warns of an impending collision. In addition, the “critical side” is shown first in yellow and then in red on the infotainment display. The brakes are automatically applied if necessary.

The parking sensors assist the driver with parking by warning of the potential risk of collision with obstacles. 

This feature uses a mini camera positioned in the tailgate. When reverse gear is engaged, the camera is automatically activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display.
